This is my second kit from this fabulous business. The tutorial videos are amazing & the wool is to die for.
I hadn’t knitted for a very long time & never anything that I could actually wear! I’m simply, in love! Thank you Marnie &! Fam. ❤️ you make making easy!!

The pattern is easy to follow and it’s easy to customise to your own style.
Add less rows and it’s a simple beanie, add more length and a cute pompom for the original look. My family all have beanies now, and are loving how they feel and look.

Loved the kit and I'm so proud of the beanie! The merino is so soft and cosy, the videos are great and make the whole process very easy to follow. The kids are now putting in orders for their own beanies!

Knitting this new pattern with the silky, chunky merino wool from @the_joy_make_club has been pure joy from the very first stitch. I’m still a novice knitter, but their how‑to videos made the process feel effortless…like having a kind and patient teacher sitting beside me, guiding my hands.

Every loop, every row, felt like a little victory, and the yarn itself was so soft and luxurious that it seemed to glide through my fingers. It’s been the kind of project that feels almost like reading a perfect book…one you could have finished sooner, but didn’t, because you wanted to savour every chapter. I could have finished days ago, but instead I lingered, letting each row stretch out like a moment I didn’t want to leave. There’s a sweetness in that kind of slow joy, in drawing out something beautiful just to make it last a little longer.

And now, with every soft skein turned into something tangible, I can see not just the awesome pattern I learnt how to do, but the joy woven into it…a keepsake of all those quiet, happy seconds I didn’t want to end! 🩷🩷🩷

Such a dream to knit, wool is so gorgeously soft and my grandies love their new vests!!!

I'm yet to try it out and start knitting but everything looks so nice and there are clear instructions included in the package.

I have never managed to complete a knitting project until now. I always got too overwhelmed and then never finished…until now :)
I used the knit along YouTube tutorial and I had so much fun!
Now I want to make a cardy and lots of beanies for friends and family.

Loved making this hot pink bucket hat for my mum!! Such a beautiful colour. Have also made a whole bunch of acorn beanies which are well loved by the other members of my family :D

I haven’t knitted in 30 years, and at best my scarves had holes and my jerseys needed help to be put together.
I smashed out this cardigan in two days, during my kids school holidays. Early morning starts and late night finishes, when the kids were in their beds.
I’m so glad I did this, as I had my kids supporting this adventure, cheering me on and appreciating all my milestones, like I do theirs.
It took me several tries to cast on, where I was then happy to continue. I nervously knitted my way through the pattern, always knowing I had video support should I forget how to do something or make a mistake.
Picking up stitches for the sleeves, I had several attempts at, but it’s no big deal to stop and start again with them.
I would highly recommend this cardigan for any stage of knitting ability. As you are so well supported throughout your knitting by the use of QR codes, linked to YouTube clips, I believe anyone can get to grasps with how to do this.
Best of all it’s a NZ business, selling NZ merino wool knit kits, supporting local just feels so right ❤️
I didn’t change anything with this pattern. I just used the lengths for the body and sleeves as stated, and they were perfect for me.
I got the size 14-16 knit kits.

This kit made it super easy to learn to knit! My jumper is gorgeous and people are blown away I knitted it myself as my first project! The patterns are easy to follow and the videos make it super easy to learn what to do. Also love that I’m supporting a local NZ business! But a note to first time knitters - it’s a lot harder to see/understand what you’re doing with a dark yarn colour - I’d pick a lighter colour for your first time!
