This vest has a wide crew neck (all the kids I've spoken to say a tight neckline is a 'no way' hehe) and a good amount of length to keep those kidneys warm!

Beginner! While this vest is knit in the round which may freak some people out - it actually makes it a super simple and quick knit and of course - we’ll be with you all the way!!

Long tail cast on, joining in the round, knitting in the round, 1x1 rib, knit, achieving 'jogless stripes', purl, slip slip knit, knit two together, shaping a neckline, picking up stitches, 3 needle bind off, casting off, weaving in edges
River is almost 9 wearing an 8-10, Mack is 6 wearing a 6-7, Evie (with the plaits) is 5 and wearing a 4-5, Neve is 7 wearing a 6-7, Moby is 3 wearing a 2-3 and Beatrice (with the buns) is almost 4 and wearing a 4-5.
These were so fun to make for my boys. The green in size 2-3 and the brown in size 6-7. Very comprehensive instructions and the videos online helped with tricky bits. Learnt some new skills. I did run out of green yarn to do the sleeve ribbing (maybe was a bit liberal with its use or my gauge worked out different!). Easy enough to order single yarn balls off the site too, so I might do that!
